The Curiosity Deck consists of 72 question cards designed to spark conversations that strengthen your community.
Each card includes a question carefully designed to help you better get to know someone, whether that be a stranger or long-term friend. You can use the cards in a variety of ways, including:
- facilitate connections between participants at a conference, summit, or meeting
- help members of a team connect and align on their shared purpose and individual contributions
- build belonging amongst students, work colleagues, or neighbors
- replace boring icebreakers with more intentional and meaningful conversations
- reimagine the type of questions you ask your friends and family
The cards are ideal for facilitators, educators, team leaders, managers, conference organizers, community builders and everyday neighbors.
These cards can be used to help you connect better with others, but can also be incorporated into different facilitation and team building activities. We’ve seen them used in intimate situations such as when a small team is trying to build trust with new team members, and we’ve seen them used where hundreds of conference attendees are each given a card in the back of their nametag to use as a community building tool throughout the event.
